Getting there

The second level course gets you from the fundamentals to really getting the hang of it. After this course you’ve covered most of the important grammar. All the important tenses, clause structures and grammatical peculiarities of Dutch you’ll now know. Paired with a good grasp on vocabulary, you’ll be able to have conversations that start to feel continues and flowing because you know how to connect sentences and interlace different tenses.

Ik ben afgelopen week naar Frankrijk geweest. Het weer was lekker enzo, maar ik vond vooral het eten heerlijk. Ik hou heel erg van patisserie dus ik heb ontzettend veel croissantjes gegeten. Nu moet ik op dieet omdat ik blijkbaar te veel gluten heb binnengekregen. Ik at steeds alles in de bakkerij op. Als ik het niet opat, nam ik het in een doosje mee dat ik goed bewaakte. Ik heb drie dozen chocoladebroodjes meegenomen die ik thuis ga opeten. Ik schaam me niet voor mijn gedrag. Ik hou van eten en ik blijf het doen, ondanks dat de dokter mij heeft verteld dat het ongezond is. Ik denk dat hij nog nooit in Frankrijk is geweest.
