Hi I’m Jens and I’m a Dutch teacher with a history in theater and improv comedy. In my courses It’s my goal to help students overcome the challenge of learning a language in an international city like Amsterdam.

To achieve this, I have combined my knowledge of teaching Dutch grammar with my love for dialogue, scene settings and games. The main focus of my courses is to embed you with confidence through education, trial and excitement. I want to get you eager to start using the language.

During my lessons, we’ll alternate learning grammar with dialogue sessions. In these sessions we’ll simulate real-life settings in a safe educational space so you can go from muttering a few words to confidently communicating in Dutch!

My courses will give you the playground where you can improve your Dutch organically; the place that’s so hard to find in Amsterdam’s daily life because everyone switches to English all the time.

But not anymore!

After you’ve done one of my courses these Dutchies will sense how comfortable you are with your Dutch skills and they will no longer get a chance to switch.
